Introduction to Dashboard Indicators This indicator captures the number of newly hired persons by industry sector as a percentage of total industry employment This indicator shows the number of TWC job applicant transactions based on their former industry attachment as a percentage of total employment in the industry This indicator shows the degree to which UI claimant activity is occurring in any given industry sector This indicator represents the number of job openings by industry posted through the Texas Workforce Network relative to the overall employment size of an industry The claimants to applicant transactions rate measures the relative degree to which displaced workers separating from an industry are receiving UI benefits as claimants This rate is often viewed as a proxy 'real time' supply-demand indicator because it compares the number of persons actively looking for work whose previous employment was in the same industry sector that is currently seeking workers This indicator reflects the extent to which employers are using TWC to fill all job openings that have occurred in a given industry during the given time period The claimant to new hire rate shows the number of workers receiving UI benefits as a percentage of those actually hired into the industry All industries sorted alphabetically by industry name All industries sorted from high to low for this indicator.
